By ChrisM: 30 years ago a British Task Force was sent to recapture the Falkland Islands after Argentina sent a military force to capture the islands that they consider theirs One of the men that left Plymouth aboard the RFA Sir Galahad was my Father Cpl J H V Meddings; Commando Logistics Regiment This blog is intended to remember the war and all those that fought, British and Argentine by a day by day coverage of events In the interests of accuracy I must say that this blog has been compiled from secondary sources; ie books and websites mostly. Every effort has been made to cross check facts but some may be incorrect.
